Tulane Concert Band

The Tulane Concert Band (TCB) is the premier wind ensemble at Tulane University. Following the excitement of the Carnival season, Tulane Bands musicians take their talents indoors along with other members of the campus community to perform high quality literature from the wind band canon. Each spring semester, the TCB consistently presents innovative programs featuring the best of classic and contemporary wind compositions, transcriptions, and arrangements. Recently, under the direction of Dr. Dylan Parrilla-Koester, the ensemble has committed to the development of new music for the wind band medium. Upcoming composer collaborations include the solo commission and world premiere of "Unseen Wings" by Dr. James David.

Membership in the Tulane Concert Band is open to all students on campus regardless of major or classification. In order to be considered for principal parts or solos, students must audition with Dr. Parrilla-Koester. To join and/or audition, email, dkoester@tulane and register for APMS-2182.
