Shockwave Dance Team
The Tulane Shockwave Dance Team is the official dance team of Tulane University and a key part of Tulane University Bands. The team performs at all home football games, as well as men’s and women’s basketball games. Beyond athletic events, Shockwave also performs in Mardi Gras parades and makes appearances at various campus and community events throughout the year.
Shockwave recently completed its second season competing at NDA Nationals in both jazz and hip hop, continuing to grow as a collegiate dance program. The team trains year-round, putting in long hours to perfect routines, strengthen technique, and represent Tulane with pride and dedication.
Shockwave is known for its hard work, passion, and commitment to excellence. Whether on the field, on the court, or in the community, the team gives 100 percent in every performance, bringing energy and spirit that reflects both Tulane and the culture of New Orleans.

It is required for Shockwave dancers to stay on campus during spring break for Nationals practices, given the proximity to NDA Nationals.
